The Information Factory plays a crucial role in the data-driven transformation, as it builds and makes available Information Bricks that have been requested by the business domains to realise their business ambitions. The Information Factory can be assessed along 4 criteria: 1) To which degree the IT infrastructure is harmonised to be able to deliver the Information Bricks to the business domains, 2) How easy it is currently for the business domains to access Information Bricks, 3) How fast business domains can access Information Bricks, and 4) How well the Information Factory already centralises the data sources.
